I found the way to do it.  You have to set group parameters like this:

("nntp\\+gmane:gmane\\.emacs\\.orgmode"
  (to-address . "emacs-orgmode@gnu.org")
  (to-list . "emacs-orgmode@gnu.org"))

This will start a mail message to emacs-orgmode@gnu.org when one presses
a,f,F,r,R in the gmane.emacs.org summary buffer.
