I the last emacs (22.1.1) I think it must be possible to save the
emacs-windows distribution and restore it at some point (creating
"views"). I would like this in order to save all frames and when I am
editing, restore them depending on the mode I am (editing or debugging).
Any M-x magic-save-function and M-x restore-function?
I have tried with M-x window-configuration-to-register with no success :(.
Thanks in advance,
David

When I first read your text, I thought
`window-configuration-to-register' immediately. But now I'm not so sure
what you mean by "saving all frames". Do you want store windows, frames
or both?
