I like to put notes in my TODO items, like

*** TODO yadda yadda yadda
    [CLOCK thing]

The purpose of this note is to
figure out what I should do with
    the whatever, whenever.

However, now I am getting:

*** TODO yadda yadda yadda
    [CLOCK thing]

The purpose of this note is to
#figure out what I should do with
    #the whatever, whenever.

Where did the '#' characters come from, and how do I turn them off?

Dave
