I wonder if a mechanism like disabling could be used?

According to the elisp manual:

"Disabling is used for commands which might be confusing to
beginning users, to prevent them from using the commands by
accident."

Maybe a different property could exist for commands or modes
that are enabled by default for beginners and when used
could prompt to disable them if the user wants?
