While working on latex beamer, I'd like to ignore additional file
extensions. I created a .dired_local.el file with the following
entries,
((dired-mode
(completion-ignored-extensions . ".out")
(completion-ignored-extensions . ".vrb")
(dired-omit-mode . t)))
This doesn't seem to ignore the files ending with the above extensions
though omit-mode becomes enabled.
I created the first ignored entry using M-x add-dir-local-variable and
repeated the generated form. How do I get to ignore *additional* file
extensions apart from what completion-ignored-extensions already
generates that is directory specific?
