Subject: desktop-save does not save window-configuration registers
Date: Mon, 04 Mar 2013 16:55:44 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <kh2g5t$g9$1@ger.gmane.org> (raw)

As stated, desktop save does not save window-configuration registers,
yet it does save location registers.
I assume this behavior is a bug?

My Emacs version is 24.2.1 , GTK+ 2.24.10 on Linux.

I tried:

emacs -Q
M-x load-library<RET>desktop
find some file,
C-x 2,
C-x r <SPACE> a
C-x r w b
save the desktop-file in home dir with M-x desktop-save
then close emacs C-x C-c

Reopen emacs with emacs -Q
M-x load-library
M-x deskop-read

C-x r j a This works but
C-x r j b gives me "Register doesn't contain a buffer position of
configuration"
