ESC [" with ?? equal to ">", "1", "5", and now ")". One thing I notice is that in the 1,2,3,4,5 series, the 4 appears to be missing. Was that an oversight on your part, or did you do the scroll up, then scroll down? If you did do the up and the down, some of the "weird up-mouse" thingies might actually stand for the mouse-4! OTOH, those come after the mouse-5 events. Could it be that you did wheel-down then wheel-up rather than the reverse (the notion of up and down in this context often leads to confusion)? Stefan
