AFAIK no amount of extra data will fix their fundamental inability to
perform any kind of logical reasoning.

That doesn't mean we can't fix them to do that, of course, but it takes
something qualitatively different rather than mere quantity of data.

That's been known for years, and re-publicized recently by some Apple
team.  Can you point at a publication that argues convincingly otherwise?
