I for one never want > checkdoc to run automatically FWIW, I partly agree, but I think it's only because checkdoc has too many false positives and/or too stringent requirements (e.g. that all args be documented). So I think the better way to fix this particular issue is to improve/tweak checkdoc. Stefan
