Why, and how to avoid it? I generally just use "bzr break-lock" without any further argument, which seems to check the remote site as well (after checking the local locks). But that's with a bound branch, You might also try "bzr break-lock bzr+ssh://antipov@bzr.savannah.gnu.org/emacs/trunk/". Stefan
