Having an Emacs FFI would make possible certain project I'll like to
accomplish. AFAIK right now we have emacs-dynamic-module and Guilemacs.

My preference is emacs-dynamic-module, because it is less intrusive and
it is expected to work on all plaforms I'm interested on. Guilemacs also
looks very far away on the future.

Since the "official" path is towards Guilemacs, is it reasonable to
base a project on emacs-dynamic-module expecting it to be merged on
Emacs once becomes stable?

This is a question about a future too far for me to be able to answer.
Maybe you should ask the next head maintainer instead,
