I guess the value set to cursor-sensor-functions should be a list
or it should allow a non-list value. When running Gnus I got:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument listp gnus-tool-bar-update)
cursor-sensor--detect(#<window 3 on *Group*>)
run-hook-with-args(cursor-sensor--detect #<window 3 on *Group*>)
redisplay--pre-redisplay-functions(t)
apply(redisplay--pre-redisplay-functions t)
#[128 "..." [apply redisplay--pre-redisplay-functions ignore nil] 4 nil nil](t)
redisplay_internal\ \(C\ function\)()
