But I think it is wrong for w32 to turn on completion-ignore-case for all completions rather than only for file-name completion. If we want completion-ignore-case to be on by default we should do that on all platforms. But maybe completion-ignore-case is misued at some places to test whether the system's filenames are cas-sensitive or not. We should fix those. Stefan
