Hi,
After I got a new laptop, the C-<SPC> (control space bar) doesn't work anymore, but control-@, which I don't like, still works.
If I added '(global-set-key "\C-m" 'set-mark-command) ' to my emacs setup file, then I can use control-m to do 'mark-set'.
However, how do I make control-space_bar work again?
Thank you,
Paul Cheng

Which windowing system are you using? Or are you using some terminal emulation? If so: which one?

What does C-h c C-SPC do/say?
How do you run your Emacs (in which OS? inside a terminal emulator or in
GUI mode)?
Stefan

Hi Peter,
Sorry for my late reply, somehow your email was filtered to my junk mail folder.
I'm running emacs via KDE terminal emulation on Linux. (NX session), it has been working fine until I got a new laptop.
Thanks,
Paul
