Yes, I think we need to agree to disagree here. OTOH I agree with the part of your proposal to rename those scroll functions to move away from the ambiguous names. I.e. rename the functions to something like scroll-next* and scroll-prev* (while keep compatibility aliases, of course). If you could submit a patch that does that, that would be nice, Stefan
