On a Mac with multi displays, if you have a frame on one display taller than a second one, and you move it to that second one, it will not shrink to accomodate it, but rather leave some of the bottom of the frame offscreen. And if you have a height set in your NS resources (maybe frame-alist also) that is higher than the display that you start up on, the TOP of the frame may be offscreen, a situation which there is no way to rectify aside from creating a new frame and destroying that one. This is a regression from previous behavior under NS.

Ah, sorry, I’ve now merged it. I suppose I can be cited for laziness not to check, but hopefully this sort of thing can serve as motivation to bring in more currently-available bug-tracker technology (check for bugs w/similar keywords on submit) to emacs..

Thank you, but that isn’t what I meant. I meant something that would autosuggest these things before allowing you to submit, as many systems do these days. I already cited myself for laziness, not the system for not providing search capabilities if you go after them.

Also the debbugs package with the commands you list is not installed by default, at least on my current Emacs version.

Right. But it is on elpa, so it isn't far away.

BTW, while it would be good for Emacs to try and work around that
problem, I think the problem here is really with Mac OS X's
window management (which was stupidly reproduced in some Gnome window
managers). A good window manager should let you move&resize windows
even if the borders are out of sight.
