cedet - freezing for a while

hi,
I work on windows xp with Emacs 23.2 and build-in cedet, does somebody
know why Emacs often hangs (freeze) for a moment (2 or 3 seconds),
it's annoying. I have standard cedet configuration:
(semantic-mode t)
(global-ede-mode t)
and also ede-cpp-root-project set to my project directories
(completion works fine).

I had the same with java and malibar mode. I stopped using completion
and the freezing stopped. Possibly just halting idle completion mode
will do.
