* Vertical writing for Japanese?

Is there a way to have Emacs write vertically (top-to-bottom) and
right-to-left, i.e. in the way of traditional Chinese (and Japanese)
script?  This would mean that C-f would move the cursor *down*,
and C-n would move it to the *left* (pretty cool, no?).
