Hello,
I'm starting to sue (wow, bad typo, should read "use" of course)
org-capture instead of org-remember, as probably a lot of other users do :)
Using an org-capture template [1], I end up with the following:
=============================================
* TODO Proper Formatting
:CLOCK:
CLOCK: [2010-06-29 Tue 16:33]
:END:
:PROPERTIES:
:Created: [2010-06-29 Tue 16:33]
:END:
=============================================
What I would like to see is this:
=============================================
* TODO Proper Formatting
:CLOCK:
CLOCK: [2010-06-29 Tue 16:33]
:END:
:PROPERTIES:
:Created: [2010-06-29 Tue 16:33]
:END:
=============================================
that is, I'd love to see the :PROPERTIES: indented appropriately for the
corresponding headline level. Is this possible, and if so, how?
M-x org-version <Ret> yields:
Org-mode version 6.36trans (release_6.36.457.g025a9)
Thanks and Cheers
Markus
[1] My org-capture template:
(setq org-capture-templates
'(("t" "Task" entry (file "h:/org/refile.org")
"* TODO %^{Todo} \n:PROPERTIES:\n:Created: %U\n:END:\n\n%?"
:clock-in :clock-resume)))

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
An there's an error in the template. It should read
:clock-in t :clock-resume t

D'uh ... Of course. Thanks for pointing this out, David!

No, adding a space between "\n" and ":PROPERTIES:", ":Created", and
":END:" does just that, it adds a space, but does NOT yield the proper
indent. This becomes more obvious when you refile a capture note to a
second-level headline.
Any other ideas/suggestions?
Thanks
Markus

I've suggested a more generic approach to specify properties in capture
templates. Have a look at the thread starting with the message
<877hlqetr8.fsf@thinkpad.tsdh.de>.
Of course, that's only a suggestion and nothing of that is
implemented... ;-)
Bye,
Tassilo

Ah, thank you. I skimmed the thread earlier but didn't catch
everything. Let's keep our fingers crossed that your suggestions (or a
variation thereof) will be implemented; IIRC, Carsten mentioned
something along these lines.
Thanks
Markus
