Your bug report will be posted to the emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org mailing list. Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: 8<-------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 25 May 2007 10:42:35 +0200 Emacs chrashed while repeatedly executing the command query-replace on a buffer in fundamental-mode. It happend after an uptime of several days. I'm used to have lots of buffers (50 to 100) open about half of them in dired-mode. I'm using desktop and session to restore my environment when I just occasionally shut down emacs. Pictures of the windows, which showed up, are attached. I could not find the annotated Textfile 7d13_appcompat.txt. Martin -- parozusa at web dot de 8<-------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. I have been using emacs since more than 15 years starting with version 18.xx. I'm a little bit worried because two crashes within a rather short period of time never occured to me before. If it would be of any help, I am ready to "fieldtest" more recent / stable precompiled versions (pointers to download sites appreciated). 8<-------------------------------------------------------------------- If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger, please include the output from the following gdb commands: `bt full' and `xbacktrace'. If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file d:/aemf/emacs/etc/DEBUG for instructions.
