This is all for new reports only: Use get_addresses to scan every address in the input To: and Cc: headers. (There should not be any CC: header in a new report, but rather an X-Debbugs-CC header instead. Should we insert a warning or something if there was a CC header?) In the To: header in the mail that gets sent out, replace any instances of submit@debbugs (using variables rather than hard-coding; ie the submission address), or bug-gnu-emacs (variable; ie the maintenance address), or emacs-pretest-bug (would have to be hard-coded) with $ref\@$gEmailDomain (ie the bug number). (See http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2010-01/msg00543.html ) Put all other addresses in the CC: header, including any X-Debbugs-CC header (see bug#1780). (Note that the To: and CC: headers in the mail are just for display and are separate from the actual addresses that the mail gets sent to.) Then there will no longer be a need to insert a Mail-Followup-To header. Finally, remove any duplicate addresses. ------------=_1264191722-11703-0 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Received: (at 5384-done) by debbugs.gnu.org; 22 Jan 2010 20:21:48 +0000 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=debbugs.gnu.org) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1NYQ0p-00032H-CB for submit@debbugs.gnu.org; Fri, 22 Jan 2010 15:21:47 -0500 Received: from fencepost.gnu.org ([140.186.70.10]) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1NYQ0o-00031x-Hr for 5384-done@debbugs.gnu.org; Fri, 22 Jan 2010 15:21:46 -0500 Received: from rgm by fencepost.gnu.org with local (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1NYQ0k-0000cU-9w; Fri, 22 Jan 2010 15:21:42 -0500 To: 5384-done@debbugs.gnu.org Subject: Re: Bug#5384 From: Glenn Morris X-Spook: mania kibo MP5K-SD Ceridian codes Abu Ghraib SWAT DES X-Ran: rL{7S13HLo8?()%d,Xk3sR<^x'duzHMv?a?K8:w>G#kwweN~-wU^ABp,'D(X]E{w&T5H,o X-Hue: yellow X-Debbugs-No-Ack: yes X-Attribution: GM Date: Fri, 22 Jan 2010 15:21:42 -0500 Message-ID: User-Agent: Gnus (www.gnus.org), GNU Emacs (www.gnu.org/software/emacs/) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Spam-Score: -3.9 (---) X-Debbugs-Envelope-To: 5384-done X-BeenThere: debbugs-submit@debbugs.gnu.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.11 Precedence: list List-Id: List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Errors-To: debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org X-Spam-Score: -3.9 (---) Implemented. ------------=_1264191722-11703-0--
