Subject: 23.1.50; hs-minor-mode shows only dots when function is folded
Date: Tue, 21 Jul 2009 14:38:51 +0200 (CEST)
Message-ID: <20090721.143851.208962907.okflo@diesenbacher.net>
Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org mailing list.
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Dear Emacs-team,
in hs-minor-mode, f.e. used in conjunction with elisp-mode or common
lisp mode, a folded function shows only three dots without the
function name as usual.
(defun foo ()
(foo-bar))
becames to
"..."
instead of
"(defun foo () ... "
The problem seem to be introduced with a change on
'hs-hide-block-at-point in hideshow.el. Replacing that function with a
older version (before June 09) produces a folding as expected.
Thanks to the emacs-team for their great efforts!
okflo
