Subject: bug#8645: add-change-log-entry-other-window and multi-author changelog entries
Date: Tue, 10 May 2011 15:40:46 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <h9aaeuibsx.fsf@fencepost.gnu.org> (raw)
Package: emacs
Severity: minor
Version: 23.3
With a multi-author ChangeLog entry, eg:
2011-05-10 Me <me@mine>
You <you@yours>
add-change-log-entry-other-window does the wrong thing if I call it on
the same day to add another change. It starts adding a new entry in the
middle of the author names, ie:
2011-05-10 Me <my@mine>
* new-entry
You <you@yours>
Instead it should start a completely new entry (under the assumption
that the new change is mine alone and so should not be merged with the
previous entry).
