journal.el for JournalMode (EmacsWiki) copy?

journal.el for JournalMode (EmacsWiki) copy?

Hi
I would like to obtain journal.el emacs file for JournalMode 

Unfortunately the links at EmacsWiki JournalMode are broken and I have
searched the net but cannot find the file (I did find one site but when I
opened the journal.el file it was in very odd characters-so I don't know
what it was coded in -thankfully it had no viruses!).

Does any have a copy they can post here or know of a link I can get a good
copy from

If you mean <http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/Journal>, I just looked at
it and it's fine.  I'm also certain it has no viruses.

The posted archive.org link is a gzip archive, that's why it did'nt
look kosher.

Hi A Politz

Many thanks for uploading journal.el
I have added to my .emacs (+ required emacswiki) & have started to
experiment with it in respect of making a journal.

There seem to be many ways to make a journal in Emacs & I am looking to find
a simple system that suits me!

You might consider org-mode to interface to a journal file.
