On 2 different machines with fedora f10 configure hangs. Last thing printed
is 'checking for mktime'. I found that running autoreconfig --force --
install seems to fix it. Anyone seen this?

It's a broken autoconf test that inadvertently made it into the pretest;
if you wait long enough, it will eventually time out and the configure
will continue.
