Pawel sent me some files, and I can reconstruct his problem - but only
if I run emacs -q (and, of course, (setq cperl-hairy t))!
Apparently, some bugs of Emacs are worked out in my (multi-megabyte)
Emacs-brain-damage-workarounds setup (to be honest, most of the volume
is workarounds about OLD damage - the setup should work starting with
v19.17 or some such).
Unfortunately, I have no time to investigate it any more; please
remind me in 10 days or so...
Thanks,
Ilya

Hallo Group Members.
Perl->Tools->TAGS->Create Tags For Current File for current perl buffer creates almost empty TAGS file.
Literally:
\f
my.perl.pl,0
But,
prompt$ etags rtm.run.pl
ends with "full" TAGS file.
I also tried it with:
cperl-use-syntax-table-text-property-for-tags's value is nil
emacs-version's value is "21.4.1"
cperl-version's value is "5.22"
*Messages* buffer:
Scanning file /home/user/my.perl.pl ...
Scanning buffer for index ( 0%)
Scanning buffer for index ( 15%)
Scanning buffer for index ( 22%)
Scanning buffer for index ( 30%)
Scanning buffer for index ( 37%)
Scanning buffer for index (100%)
Scanning file /home/user/my.perl.pl finished
Wrote /home/user/TAGS
have You got Idea what might be the reason?
Regards,
Pawel
