Currently, the *.el files in lisp/nxml/char-name/unicode/ are not
byte-compiled by bootstrapping, but they *are* compiled by "cd lisp;
make cvs-update".
So:
- Are these files going to stay, or will they be deleted? (ISTR
reading something like that in the "initial import of nxml" thread)
- If they stay, should they be byte-compiled (and the bootstrap needs
to be fixed), or should they not (and so "no-byte-compile: t" is
needed)?

At least for now, I moved these annoying files to etc/nxml.
They don't need to be compiled, so it's easiest not to have them in lisp/.
