Hi,<br><br>I have problem getting emacs work properly.&nbsp; I have just installed emacs on my home directory on a FreeBSD host.<br>I could start up Emacs and couldn't do anything else afterwards.<br><br>Here are the errors/warnings:
<br><br>Warning: arch-dependent data dir (/usr/local/libexec/emacs/21.4/i386-unknown-freebsd5.4/)&nbsp; does not exist.<br>Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/local/share/emacs/21.4/site-lisp' does not exist.<br>Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/local/share/emacs/21.4/leim' does not exist.
<br>Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/local/share/emacs/21.4/lisp' does not exist.<br><br>I was trying to add&nbsp; <br><br>~/libexec/emacs/21.4/i386-unknown-freebsd5.4<br>~/share/emacs/21.4/site-lisp<br>~/share/emacs/21.4/lisp<br>
