Hi Alan,

that form is used to make a decision at a certain point:

(cond ((and
		     (member
		      regexp
		      (list
		       'py-block-or-clause-re
		   ...
		       ))
		     (looking-at regexpvalue))

So regexpvalue is used too. May send the complete function if interested.
