Subject: Showing eldoc tips using Popup/Tooltip Windows
Date: Thu, 1 Oct 2009 04:39:16 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]

I really think that eldoc-mode, c-eldoc should display the prototype
as pop-window above/under the cursor position instead of in the
minibuffer.
What are informational message/tooltip popup-windows called in emacs
and how do I use them?
Any other advice on such a popup-window together with eldoc.
