outline-minor-mode-highlight (override and append)

I do not see why there are the two options "override" and "append" for outline-minor-mode-highlight.
outline-minor-mode should only change comment type headlines only, not the typeface of code.
Having ... at the end of function declarations without changing colour highlighting is enough.

Maybe it makes more sense when thinking about non-code outlines, such as
headers in a markdown file (just like headers in a org-mode file have
different colours).

I am quite convinced there exists some subtle problems, quite tricky to understand.

Hope they will get to it eventually.

Lars does it after careful consideration.  Please respect that.

And of course, if you have new evidence, or some other good reason why
a bug report should not be closed, you can always voice your opinion,
and it will be considered.

Tho only thing I am getting are accusations of span and other nonsense, followed by get
the bug-report closed.

Am quite disappointed with his way of working.  Shame Shame.  One thing to remember occasionally
is that someone might know more than you do, and would be wise to dig a little deeper.
