Subject: Mode independent abbrev tables
Date: Wed, 2 Sep 2020 12:37:13 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <e2b8cc81-31f0-909e-6a36-fb4b3cb36fa6@easy-emacs.de> (raw)

Hi,

is there a way to load specific abbrev-tables without regard of the
current major-mode?

Tried

(define-minor-mode ar-math-insert-mode
   "Convenient enter mathematical characters."
   nil " aMI"
   (setq local-abbrev-table ar-math-insert-mode-abbrev-table)
   )

but doesn't work.

Thanks,
Andreas
