Subject: beginning-of-defun etc in xml/html

I would expect mark-defun to match beginning-of-defun and end-of-defun
in html-mode. It looks like they do not. Am I missing something?
Also I wonder what meaningful definitions would be (or are there already some?).
It looks to me like sgml-skip-tag-backward/forward are good candidates
(though they break the first column rule for beginning-of-defun).
Any thoughts on this?
