Wouldn't it be more readable if this frame parameter alist (from
ediff-make-wide-display in ediff-wind.el):
(modify-frame-parameters frame-A (list (cons 'left cw)
(cons 'width wd)))
were written using backquote:
(modify-frame-parameters frame-A `((left . ,cw) (width . ,wd)))
If so, there are probably other frame parameter alists that could be
made clearer as well.
