Subject: So many trash-posts! "gnu.emacs.help.moderated"? (ditto comp.emacs?)

Looks like the spam/real-stuff ratio is getting to what, 5? 10?

Other newsgroups have in the past gone moderated.

Good or bad idea for the emacs groups?

What would be the difficulties?

How much of a PITA to simply toss out posts
based purely on subject-lines?

Or, might one of these email spam-catchers work
for tossing at least the ones with subject-lines
that aren't readible, not ascii, etc?

We gotta do *something*, huh?

Other ideas?

David
