Re the OP's quest for WYSIWYG in emacs, that really seems to go against the= fundamental philosophy of emacs in a way but as I mentioned earlier there = is a built-in mode for that, as long as you don't mind the file-format not = being well-supported - but it IS based on W3 RFC standards. Really (again) markdown's the way to go. If you really need WYSIWYG then th= ere are lots of editors in the Mac world.
