Don't bother with Emacs 20.x or 21.1: the latest official release is 21.4. And you can install a pre-built Emacs 21.3 for your platform (which is the same as 21.4 except for a security fix to the movemail utility) with `pkg-get install emacs`; see http://www.bolthole.com/solaris/pkg-get.html -- Kevin Rodgers
