who has experience with the ELDAV package?

who has experience with the ELDAV package?

hi there

i want to access an webdav repositiry through emacs and had a first look at
eldav.

unfortunatly it needs an External program for the WebDAV access. i couldnt
find a windows (2000) port.

so before i start looking closer: does eldav work well? and does anybody
know about a way to use it on windows?

Hi leo,

just answering here too, to keep the newsgroup up to date.
I have succeed to build "nd.exe" for windows and if the author of "nd"
Yuuichi allows it, I will put it for download on my website.

But though "nd.exe" is working fine on windows, I experience other problems.
E.g. If I want to write the file back I keep getting the error
  save-restriction: Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p, ""

I'm not quite sure if the "apel"-library is needed.

according to the docu eldav requires the apel lib. that might explain your
error.

therefore i will install apel first and then eldav.

i'll tell how it goes.
