hi there

i have lots of folders beginning with an Uppercase letter and lots of folder
beginning with lowercase letters as well.

in emacs i'd love to have file/folder completion, which don't care.
something like "case-insensitive " completion.

i didn't find a documented option in the manual. any idea?

thanks, leo

Is completion-ignore-case what you want?

yes it is what i'm looking for. thanks!

strangely nt-emacs does set it itself waeherend Mac OsX emacs doesn't..but
an .emacs line sorts that out.;-)
