Hi, I was about to code an eshell script and was just curious if there was any progress being made toward an eshell-script-mode. I see it is listed as a to-do item in the Emacs 30 manual.

I'm curious also if there was a convention yet on a file extension. I have been using ".esh".

I probably won't get to it terribly soon, but here are my previous
