I just wanted to make sure that they had the ability to do so, in case these changes somehow interfered with their workflows (given that these are notable changes to some long-standing behaviour). I could 'demote' them to plain defvars, if we think that their use is so unlikely that they don't actually warrant being included in the customize group? In any case I'll see if I can improve the wording... -Phil
