Subject: Emacs client sluggish [repost from #emacs]
Date: Thu, 17 Sep 2009 07:41:09 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]

Hi all,
I run emacs 23 using the multi-tty feature. So I have a non-graphical
emacs server running in a screen session and use regular emacs
graphical clients. But the graphical clients have become sluggish. For
example, if I hold down Ctrl-B (backward-char) after about 2 seconds,
the screen freezes and takes about a half second to catch up.
Has anyone else seen/fixed this?
