Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org mailing list.
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
This is the '.emacs' file loaded:

;; If you edit it by hand, you could mess it up, so be careful.
;; Your init file should contain only one such instance.

I'm sorry: the error was produced by an erroneously configured Xserver
with bad Xresources. The default font had slant "roman" instead of
"normal". I think that this is the same problem that Chris Moore
encountered in his message "ugly wide fonts started appearing" (see
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2008-02/msg02942.html).
Is it the same?
Francesc

This problem can be replayed on my laptop and work pc (debian lenny/sid). I'm
try git snapshot from 20080226 and 20080229.
