eshell scripts?

eshell scripts?

Hello,

does Eshell supports scripts? That is, is there a way to make a file
executable by Eshell, so that it can be run when inside Eshell? Both
on Linux and Windows?

I should have tried before asking!

Eshell understands that *.bat files are meant to be executed by
Windows' command interpreter.

I'll check what I get under Linux with a shell script.

I think you could use elisp functions. Write your script into a file,
load it in .emacs. Then call it's function like this.

elisp$ (your-function)
