I am aware of it. That is why:

- in our team we use our XMPP network;

- in our team, we use our e-mail addresses and domains; running on
  fully free software;

- we enlighten each staff member to understand what is free software;

For friends and family, clients, I can always send them link how to
get their own free email address.
