There are different reasons to highlight bookmark
locations, and different reasons not to do so.
There are different times and situations when it
can be appropriate to do so (when setting, when
jumping, etc.).
There are different ways to attach highlighting
(on hooks etc.).
There are different ways to show bookmark locations.
Bookmark+ has long considered these things, and
gives users a way to specify what they want in these
regards.
