Subject: CC Mode 5.28 (C++); member-init-cont and -> expressions
Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 15:12:48 -0500 (CDT) [thread overview]

Hi there,
first thanks for this mode, and I also appreciate that member-init
expressions
have been much improved lately in the presence of templated base classese!
Still, some things are not exactly right. Example:
X::X (Y *p)
:
a (p->a),
b (p->b)
Hitting "tab" on the initialization of b yields "unbalanced parentheses".
Worse,
hit "enter" after that line, and enter "{" on the next line with
auto-newline
enabled. This brings you to the *previous* line start, i.e. the line with
the
initialization of b!
I guess ">" should just be parsed differently when in an "->" expression,
but
that's just a wild guess...
Anyway, this is just a minor nit. Keep on the good work!
Cheers
Wolfgang
