need help to install emacs

I was trying to install emacs-21.2 on Sun Sparc machine. I got the 
following errors when I tried to compile the src/lwlib code.

This should be fixed in the next release.  The patch below should fix
it for you:

Hello...

Is there a way to paste an image (gif, tiff, jpeg, pdf or ?)  into the
diary file and have it appear as the image rather than ascii
representations of the binary file?
