Using emacs with auctex (and any other shell commands) causes cmdproxy to
freeze emacs 22.1. Sometimes this can be corrected by killing the
cmdproxy process and restarting the shell.
When using the shell commands, emacs freezes as well. I've included the
bug emacs information below.
