Subject: emacs 21.x: mouse yank no longer terminates search
Date: Thu, 8 May 2003 09:49:47 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <OF325607B4.91928AE1-ON80256D20.002F4D9B@ny.jpmorgan.com> (raw)

I think the following behaviour has changed from emacs 20.x:

A search started by C-s is no longer terminated by a middle mouse button
yank (ie mouse-yank-at-click) ie any letters typed after the yank are
appended to the search string rather than to where you just pasted the
text.

Not sure if this is an intended change - it doesn't appear to be in the
documentation - it seems a bit counter intuitive to me.

Thanks,
Mark.
